In this performance of Handel’s great oratorio, the Durham Singers continue their collaboration with their professional period instrument orchestra, bringing the music vividy to life.  Working in partnership with Samling, young soloists from the North East taking part in the Samling Academy training programme will be joined by Samling International Artist, bass-baritone Arshak Kuzikyan who makes his Messiah debut. The partnership between one of the region’s leading choirs, a virtuoso group of instrumentalists, and the outstanding young singers performing the work for the first time will bring Messiah to life inspiringly and movingly.
