Voice of the Bridge
Sat 29 Jun , 8:00 pm| £10
“I connect one side to the other, the past to the present, the high to the low; I am the city’s scandalous gossip, its joyful protest and its angry conscience; I am the voice of the outcast and forgotten; and I am, above the river’s drifting vastness, all that divides one doomed man’s fate from another’s …”

Internationally renowned musicians Badinage / Ars Eloquentiae, including mezzo-soprano Katie Bray who will be representing England at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition, give a performance written by Jonathan Rees of original street songs of gossip, protest and scandal, high baroque music, and words by contemporary writers.
