Cleveland Philharmonic: Bruckner and Mozart

Cleveland Philharmonic: Bruckner and Mozart

One of the region’s finest choirs, Cleveland Philharmonic, directed by John Forsyth, makes a trip to Durham Cathedral to sing  the complete set of Bruckner’s beautiful motets, including the well-loved Christus factus est and Locus iste and Ecce Sacerdos with its unusual accompaniment of organ and trombone trio.  The Mowbray Orchestra wind ensemble join the choir for Brucker’s Mass in E minor, a piece that looks forward to Bruckner’s mighty symphonies, and they will also perform Mozart’s Wind Serenade in C Minor.

John Forsyth – Music Director
Isaac Conroy – Assistant Music Director
