A concert presented by MUSICON commemorating the 350th anniversary since the death of German composer Heinrich Schütz. The Brook Street Band with tenor (and Durham graduate) David de Winter explore Schütz’s solo cantatas and bring to life the brilliant virtuosic Venetian music of the time which heavily influenced the German master’s musical language.
