Sing Dido & Aeneas in a weekend

Barefoot Opera come to Ushaw for a weekend putting on Purcell's Dido and Aeneas from scratch. Apply before 1st January for solo or chorus auditions.

Barefoot Opera invite singers to spend a weekend in Durham creating Purcell’s ‘Dido and Aeneas’ from scratch, finishing with a performance in Ushaw’s glorious Victorian theatre. This special weekend with Barefoot’s creative team, Jenny Miller, Lesley-Anne Sammons and Penelope Randall-Davis, offers opportunities for 10 soloists and 24 choristers.

Closing date for applications: 1st Jan 2020
Solo roles will be allocated by audition in early January 2020

Course Dates:
Friday 13th March 2020, 6.30 pm to Sunday 15th March, 8 pm

Prices:
All-inclusive package – full board plus all tuition: £300
Non-residential package – all meals plus tuition: £250
