The Gala is a modern theatre and cinema complex in the centre of Durham. Classical music events at the Gala include regular visits from English Touring Opera, as well as student and local musical theatre and operatic productions. Tickets can be booked online or by phone (hint: the website charges a booking fee, but you don’t pay this if you book by phone or in person). The nearest parking is just a few minutes walk away in the Walkergate multistory or outdoors at Freeman’s Quay.
