At the start of Advent, and in the dark of approaching mid-winter, Durham University Chamber Choir, directed by Cameron Davies, explore the expectation and preparation for light and celebrates its glory and power.
Their programme is by turns exciting and reflective as they weave together James MacMillan’s Strathclyde Motets with pieces by Richard Allain, Joanna Marsh and Owain Park in a sequence which stretches right from the beginnings of light and hope to its powerful arrival.
