Composed in 1997, Morten Lauridsen’s ‘Lux Aeterna’ weaves together Latin texts in a meditation on light, offering consolation and solace in luminous harmonies and serene pacing. Antonín Dvořák’s Mass in D-Major was written ‘with faith, hope and love’ at its heart and blends his signature Bohemian melodies with rich harmonies. The mass expresses gentle intimacy and joyful affirmation, reflecting Dvořák’s faith and his love of the natural world around him.
