Brilliant orchestral fireworks with Durham University Palatinate Orchestra, built around Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, and its unmistakable fusion of classical sophistication and jazz‑infused flair and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture with its sweeping drama and triumphant power.
Both of the Palatinate groups, the 90-piece Symphony Orchestra and the 20-piece Palatinate Ensemble will be on stage, offering a rich blend of grandeur and musical storytelling.
