Durham University’s annual summer concert follows a journey of hope and discovery through some of the world’s best stories, with choirs, orchestras, bands, and musical theatre. bringing together the very best of student performing arts talent.

With over 250 performers, Let There Be Light showcases the wide range of student performing arts groups and includes music from scores for Star Wars and 2001: A Space Odyssey;  the award-winning Northern Lights A Cappella present their competition set and the concert closes with a climactic medley from Les Misérables.

Performers include the Orchestral Society, Choral Society. Chamber Choir, Opera Ensemble, Brass Band, Palatinate Orchestra, Northern Lights A Cappella and Full Score Barbershop.
