Handel – Zadok the Priest

Because it’s Mothering Sunday, today’s choice of happy music comes from my mother. She and I have both always loved this piece, and I’ve sung it many times, including in the Royal Albert Hall and Durham Cathedral, but it was also on the programme the first time I ever sang with an orchestra, in a concert our church choir gave with a visiting orchestra from Hemel Hempstead.
